Director

Sam is the founder and Director of PASG Projects based in Melbourne. PASG is one of Australia’s leading project management companies with the primary focus of working with apartment strata managers and commercial building owners to remediate buildings with structural, waterproofing, and combustible cladding issues.

Sam has over two decades experience working in the construction industry across Tasmania and Victoria. For the past decade he has specialised in project managing the remediation of apartment and commercial buildings.

His process driven approach to delivering projects uses the most up-to-date specialist software and work practices. He is committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Sam has a professional team of qualified project managers who undertake ongoing training and development to be leaders in the remediation of buildings. With the growth in electric vehicles, PASG is providing specialist project management services for the installation of electrical infrastructure and vehicle charging solutions into apartment and commercial buildings.

As a result of working with all stakeholders in the construction and building industry, Sam is committed to providing educational materials that assist owners corporation committees, strata and building managers to understand the issues with remediating buildings. This includes ensuring building faults are identified as soon as possible to minimise costs and inconvenience to owners and tenants.

Sunela Samaranayake
Operations Manager

Sunela graduated from the University of Adelaide, South Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Accounting and Marketing and has an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK. She holds Memberships with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK and the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia.

Sunela commenced her career working with two leading multinational professional services networks – Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Here she excelled in areas of Business and Transactions Advisory, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. She was with Asia Capital PLC, the largest investment bank in Sri Lanka for eleven years working closely with investors, regulatory authorities, and boards of directors in her capacity as Head of Corporate Finance and part of the senior management team prior to joining Atman, a private wealth management company in 2021. With Atman investing in Taprobane Seafoods, Sunela consequently joined Sri Lanka’s largest seafood exporter in 2022 managing the Corporate Finance and Sustainability teams.

She has been with PASG projects since April 2023 working in Operations. Sunela has sixteen years of experience in the fields of Corporate Finance, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Strategy.

Mark Laing
Strategy

Mark has worked with PASG Projects since the middle of 2022. He assists with long-term strategy and works with the management team to implement processes and provide an external perspective.

Mark has a Bachelor of Business and an MBA. He previously held senior roles in the Human Resources and the Financial Services industries. In 2001 he started his own business planning and marketing consultancy.
